We are processing Iron and steel scraps (Heavy earthmoving machineries, beams, bars, plates, pipes, angles, channels, engines blocks and rail sleepers) in our Metal Scrap yard in Douala, Cameroon. There are few vessels lying close to the port area, which sank near the bay needs to be cut down.
Modus of operandi:
Buyers visits our yard and selects the materials from our suppliers (governmental & non-governmental authorities) on daily basis and pays them locally. We will help to open your bank account, arrange scrap supply locally, process scraps, load into containers, and ship
Buyer strictly controls the price, quality and quantity. Buyer has to have their finance to pay daily scrap buying, fob charges when needed.
The price depends on the nature of scraps selected but we can give an idea of hms1/2 80/20 the fob rates would be around usd 185 pmt and over this price the freight have to be added to get the cnf price. Our buyers negotiate the freight rate with the shipping companies and are paying the freight at the destination just before arrival of the Cargo.
Loaded containers are sent to the port as soon as the loading is finished, we do not keep loaded containers in the yard. Normally 5 to 7 times vessels anchor the Douala port in a month to collect the loaded containers. We help to open bank account, arrange scrap supply locally, process scraps, load containers and ship.
